Dungeon keeper which creature to transfer

A L10 Vampire has the highest skill rating by far, and is an excellent fighter with plenty of spells. He is second only to a horned reaper in cost though, and he tends to get in fights with your other creatures if you don't keep him busy.

I don't bother advancing my imps past L3 - just get them to where they have speed. My present opinion is that you should take the dragon.

It has the second best skill at research vampire is best , and is a pretty good fighter. It seems to take a lot of damage and its cost is quite reasonable.

One L10 dragon in your library right away will give you a big boost on research, but with less risk of running short on cash should you get dropped into a low-gold dungeon. My second choice would be the vampire, again for the early research boost, but the risk of running out of cash is much higher. If you don't have a dragon or vampire, take your highest level demon spawn so that you will get a dragon, unless you don't want a dragon, in which case I would suggest a warlock again, for the research.

I wouldn't take the creature that fights best in battle -- it doesn't look like there's enough difference that one L10 "best creature" can take on a half dozen or more other high level creatures.

You still need the numbers. IMO, among the researchers, the Dragon is the best bang for the buck. You don't get the option to xfer imps. BTW, to get a horned reaper, you should think about what you found locked in rooms off the small temple that was obviously set up for you to take over on the 4-wizards level.

I think about this question a great deal, so I'll share my thoughts on the subject. Others may or may not agree, so you'll have to come to your own conclusion.

There are a few things to consider about the creature you transfer: 1 How good is it in battle? The Vampire is the most durable, because of his immortality and ability to drain health from the enemy. For sheer melee damage, though, the Reaper is the most damaging and fastest of the group. Not only is the Reaper normally faster than all the others as fast as an imp , a L10 Reaper can speed herself AND cast slow on the enemy.

Beyond that, the Dragon and the Lord of the Realm actually are pretty close in terms of combat ability. The Dragon has ranged attacks, but the Lord of the Realm can take more damage, can Rebound spells cast at him, and hits more often in melee than the Dragon. For question 2, the Reaper is the clear loser. Only very rarely will your level start with a temple to keep the Reaper happy, and a L10 Reaper will not be able to train.

I liked the Skelletons they where great for the last misson and any Multiplayer map with gems on it, if you had enough gold you could easily create a giant army of the undead..

Build long room. Close the Room with a Magic Door. Add a Builder Trap to the room. Fill the room with Imps. Kill all the Imps with the Builder Trap. Now open the Door so your other Imps could bring the sacrificed one to the graveyard. Now you get tons of vampires, put them into the prison and soon you have a big Skelleton army.

Go back to 2. I used the Skelletons instead of Vampires because most times I attempted to create a Vampire army, my enemys would easily steal them with the Scavenger Room, but would never steal my Skelletons.

Always underfoot, picking and mining away, carving an empire out of the earth. I also loved the spawning sound, the little laugh they made.

Their claiming dance was good too and I love that it made a return here. But I think the most important thing for creatures is having them be interactive.

Some creatures should hate others, some should just generally be bullies, some might not like being next to a certain room, etc I would really love for some of that to be incorporated in this game.
