Terrible writer is terrible. Okay chapter. The two girls passing by were sooo forced though,ugh. At least better than the last chapter, which was a trolling time skip :D Lucy sure is pitiful, though I am much more excited with new enemies and stuff.

But aren't they really really weak right now? I mean other mages should have gotten stronger those 7 years. You may have a fresh start any moment you choose, for this thing that we call "failure" is not the falling down, but the staying down.

I'm still not convinced about this whole time skip, but poor Lucy. I feel bad for her. I guess I'll just wait and see what happens. Although I still wouldn't be surprised if they somehow travel back in time once this is over.

Yeah sad chapter. Let's what comes next. Boring chapter never liked Lucy and just because her dad died. Do you think she is going to change at all? I hope they return to their own time because this time skip is just stupid so far. You get it, punk? God, they couldnt have just killed Makarov. If they'd let Makarov die none of this would ever happened. I wonder whats going to happen to Natsu tbh. Apart from that I acutally found that chapter fucking pointless. He's so cool. Erza and Mira geared up was also awesome. I love how they deal with their money troubles. But while the letter and birthday gifts thing was sweet, it wasn't what I was hoping for. I'm pretty disappointed. Oh, well. Mashima-sensei never does what I want. Accept it. There will need to be chapters like these to tie up loose ends and show the impact of passed TIME.

I personally thought there couldn't be a more fitting chapter. I feel sorry and sympathize with Lucy. She really had complex feelings for her dad and he just died without any warning. I wont be expecting info on Jellal and crew for a few more chapters. Patience will help here. Also, the 2 ugly girls walking by was there to add a guilt and horror factor to the whole situation.

Do you know that there are people like that in real life everywhere? It may of seemed random or forced but, it was perfectly implemented. The fact that Makarov, Erza and Mira even appeared in this chapter and destroyed the fodder was a bonus. I expected this chapter to be completely focused on Lucy, so I appreciate those panels.
