Kaneohe Bay Sandbar The Sandbar is such a popular destination that it deserves its own mention. Located in the center of Kaneohe Bay about a mile from land, the naturally-formed sandbar is a picturesque place to spend an afternoon. Depending on the tide, the Sandbar is either completely exposed or covered by feet of water.
